Influence UK policy decisions to best support effective approaches for the long term sustainable control, elimination and eradication of NTDs, using evidence from NTD programmes and research;
Build political will with UK parliamentarians and decision makers to raise understanding of the impact of NTDs on the achievement of global goals for health and development, and champion investment in to NTDs and global health;
Engage in policy wide discussions with other global health networks, UK policy and decision makers to ensure the inclusion of NTDs within health and development frameworks and strategies developed and championed by the UK;
Develop cross-sectoral relationships with organisations committed to supporting NTD control, elimination and eradication both within and outside the health sector;
Create a strong collective identity within the UK on NTD control, elimination and eradication.
Work with other national and global NTD forums to raise awareness among national, regional and international policy and decision makers and the broader health community of NTDs as a key barrier to the attainment of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and poverty alleviation.
